Established in 1987, Technitrad is an ISO 17100 Certified Professional Translation Services Company based on Montreal’s south shore. As a leading professional translation company, we have all the latest translation technology in-house. Technitrad has spent time and consequently money creating customized solutions for our client’s most frequent problems. We’re very good at what we do and we’ve got the track record to prove it.

From our beginnings when our founder, Judy Fay, began her career as a translator for local engineering firms. The company quickly recognized the need for specialized technical translations in its local Canadian market, as this type of content requires in-depth knowledge of technical terminology and qualified resources were scarce. With this challenge in mind, we built a team and developed tools and processes to successfully meet and exceed the inherent challenges.

The company has grown from just a few employees to a full-fledged team of managers, engineers and linguists. As existing clients were compelled to share their satisfaction, we extended our range of services and geographical reach. Today, with the help of our specialized workforce and state-of-the-art tools, we can accurately deliver your content into the language and format of your choice, in a time frame and at a cost that will make you smile.

Judy is an industry veteran with nearly 30 years of hands-on experience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and has led Technitrad to its current success through her creative thinking and personalized care. She strives to have in-depth knowledge of our customers, their needs and their wants, which helps her steer the design of tailored solutions

David is in charge of operations, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. He has over ten years of experience in the translation industry, managing teams and overseeing global accounts. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in B.A. and Finance, and a Master’s Degree in Terminology. He is also a certified Terminology Manager, providing ongoing expertise on the use of key terminology.

Angela manages the administrative operations at Technitrad, ensuring that effective processes are in place and resources are employed efficiently. She has almost ten years of experience in the translation industry and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Her attention to detail and strong organizational and listening skills allows her to coordinate and provide direction efficiently.

Julie manages our team of project managers and translators. She has 18 years of experience in the translation industry, including more than ten years managing multiple language teams for global organizations that require perfection. Julie is also a highly-qualified translation tool expert with the ability to ensure our systems are used properly and efficiently.
